Tim Skogen: Bass Guitar

Tim began his music career playing string bass in the orchestra at the age of 10. He played in various bands throughout high school and beyond. He attended Mankato State University, where he earned a degree in electrical engineering. For a while there, it looked as though he might have a “normal life”, but he soon realized that it wasn’t for him, so off came the suit and on went the bass. Tim can and has played every style. He’s a former member of the country rock group, Yankee Rose. If he’s not playing with CBO, you might find him playing for a church service, fishing, inventing, tuning pianos or trying to lead Patrick down the road to righteousness. Tim hails from Shoreview Minnesota, and has been in the CBO family for 10 years. He has recorded and toured with David Malmberg, Paiste Cymbals, Yankee Rose and is known for his fabulous solo work, wacky stage antics, and his LP collection. Tim has also written some songs used in radio advertising.
